The Beaver looks forward to the spring thaw. She lives in her lodge for the winter with her colony, only emerging in dire times for food.
She's cooped up in winter, and when the spring comes she is ready to emerge. She wants to swim, to work, to master the creation of her dam, to eat, and to nourish herself.
For Beaver, the movement from winter into spring is one of stretching open after living in tight quarters.
How could you stretch open this spring? What work could you pick up that would make you feel expansive? What tools do you need to dust off? What creaky wheels need oiling? What wants to begin again?
