Maybe there's a novel you've always wanted to write, or perhaps a memoir sits in the back of your mind wanting to come out into the world. Maybe you dream of writing poetry or starting a blog or maybe you just wish you could keep a personal diary for your children or grandchildren to read when they are older.
You very much want to fulfill this writing dream. You want it so much that your whole life feels dissatisfying because this dream hasn't come true. Even more than dissatisfying, sometimes you feel like a complete failure.
However, you still don't write, because you tend to talk yourself out of it. This is frivolous, you think. It's not useful. There are so many other things to do. What's the point?
But your soul is continuously whispering to you, "This is important." Your heart aches, because it knows following through on this dream is the key to a fulfilling life.
There's something going on here that's deep and meaningful. This dream is so special that it doesn't leave you alone. Even if you haven't written in years, you still think about writing, you still want to write, and you still long to fulfill this dream.
You are officially sick and tired of this pattern. You are ready to write. But how? And when? And can you really trust yourself to do it? And, by the way, did I mention? Writing can be really freaking scary!!!
You don't write, not only because you think your creative life is frivolous, but also because:
Your relationship to writing is hindered by deep and tender creative wounds. In order to protect yourself, you don't pursue writing, which is totally understandable, but in doing so, you keep yourself from a life where you get to feel the satisfaction of fulfilling your creative dreams.
You know life can be so much better than this, but it's challenging to recover from creative wounds, and that's where I come in.
I'm a writing coach for women like you, women who know it's time to fulfill their writing dream, who would benefit from partnering with a tender, understanding coach, and who also need a little bit of external accountability.
With my online coaching program you and I will work together to make your writing dreams come true.
Here's how it works:
With this coaching program, you and I will work closely together to help you:
This program is a safe space to dive deep and reflect on your relationship to writing. It will help you see what's going on below the surface, and it will help you see what's truly blocking you.
My goal is to help you heal your relationship to writing. I know this is tender for you, and I also know that healing your creative wounds will help you move forward on your dream. We'll make this happen, together.
The weekly online check-ins will help motivate you to get your writing done, and through our conversations I will help you fine tune your writing process, so you stay motivated for the long haul.
You have questions. I have answers. If you have a question not answered here, I'd love for you to email me directly at [email protected] I check my email regularly and will do my best to respond within 24 hours.
For this program I use a special online forum software called Slack. If you've never used Slack, or if new technologies intimidate you, I offer a video tutorial, plus you can email me any questions you have. I use Slack instead of other programs, because it offers a higher level of privacy for the online sphere.
You can access Slack on your desktop or as a mobile app, and you can set up email notifications to know when I've responded to you.
This program will work great for you if small amounts of external accountability tend to help you get things done, but you don't need a drill sergeant. I will never tell you to just sit down and write already. My motivation style is all about helping you reflect and heal in a safe space, so you can find freedom and pleasure in your writing process.
I offer 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month commitments. I do a minimum of 3 months, because it often takes that amount of time to see the true results of your transformation. For the extent of your program, you will do your weekly online check-ins, and you will do your self-defined weekly writing goals.
As your coach, I will respond to your check ins with coaching tools and opportunities for further reflection. I'll also be available for the in-between times when you have questions, need encouragement, and are ready to celebrate your wins. I offer thoughtful responses and respond within 24 - 48 hours to your messages. Consider me your partner in making your writing dreams come true.
This program is available for monthly payments of $195 / month. Your payments will start after you fill out your application and are officially accepted into the program.
If you ever need to cancel your payments and leave the program, you can email me 2 weeks prior to when you need the payment cancelled.
If you're interested in doing online writing coaching, I would be absolutely thrilled to receive your application, which you can fill out here.
Because this is an intensive program, where you and I will be working closely together over a period of time, I want to make sure this program is the right fit for you.
With the application I'm looking to make sure your writing goals match my coaching style. Be as honest and open as you can. If your goals aren't a perfect fit for this program, I'll do my best to refer you to a program that I think might work well for you.
I respond to applications within 72 hours, and I'm so looking forward to reading yours!!
When you sign up for online writing coaching you will also get immediate access to my online course: Write In Peace, a self-guided 2 hour writing retreat you can do anywhere, anytime. You can use this course to help you jump start your writing dreams!
Every writing program is a little different. If you are comparing this program to others, here's a little more info to help you make your decision.
Here is what I don't do:
Consider this program a safe and tender space to help you reflect on your writing life, heal your creative wounds, and find the motivation to make your writing dreams come true.
